GraminVikasSevabhaviShikshanSanstha’s Mahatma Phule Sr. College Kingaon was started in 2001 to cater the needs of the students of educationally backward rural area of Maharashtra. The motto of the college is to empower the learners with employability to face the challenges of life. Presently the Shikshansanstha runs a Junior College with Arts, Commerece, Science & present UG college offering degree education in Arts . Apart from these it offers B. A. course of YashwantraoChavanMarathwada Open University, Nashik in this campus.

Kingaon is the biggest Gram Panchayat and Industrial circle in AhmedpurTahesil. It has a heterogeneous population. Majority of population of the town belongs to the backward and minority communities and is engaged in brick industry.
